About

The International Association of Professional Birth Photographers (IAPBP) was established to assist expectant parents who are in search of a professional birth photographer in their area.  IAPBP’s focus is on providing resources to expectant parents, photographers and other birth professionals through education, understanding the birth process, support and respect for each persons birth choices.

FOUNDER

IAPBP was founded by Lyndsay Stradtner of Life in Motion Photography. In addition to a thriving portrait and birth photography business, Lyndsay mentors birth photographers from around the world through her mentoring program, The Birth Experience.  She resides in Austin, Texas with her husband and four children.

MEMBERSHIP SERVICES

Jason Stradtner is responsible for all new membership listings and keeping the blog up to date.  Jason is the better half of our Founder, Lyndsay Stradtner.  He keeps this running smoothly behind the scenes, not only with birthphotographers.com, but with their four crazy kids.

Sarah Boccolucci is a photographer and birth doula living in Colorado. She has always had a passion for the visual and performing arts and started down the path to become a doula and birth photographer after the birth of her son. Nikki Williams is a wearer of many oddly diverse hats, including Arabic translator and digital forensic investigator, with her favorite being birth doula and photographer.  She was inspired to help other women experience their childbearing year after having a wonderful birth and dreadful postpartum.  Nikki lives near Wiesbaden, Germany with her husband and daughter.  She enjoys writing about birth at www.bedheadbirth.com/wordpress
