Our Team


IAPBP was founded by Lyndsay Stradtner of Life in Motion Photography. In addition to a thriving portrait and birth photography business, Lyndsay mentors birth photographers from around the world through her mentoring program, The Birth Experience.  She resides in Austin, Texas with her husband and four children.


Jason Stradtner is responsible for all new membership listings and tech support.  Jason is the better half of our Founder, Lyndsay Stradtner.  He keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes, especially during our yearly image competition.


Melissa Wilson is a photographer in Connecticut, Specializing in Maternity, Birth, and Newborns.  Melissa Is working towards putting together a birth photographers network for Connecticut, works closely with the natural childbirth Center in her area, and has many other goals for taking Birth Photography to the next level in Connecticut.   Melissa loves being a mom of three and feels that it has really helped in her growth as a birth photographer.  You can view her work at


Jennifer Wakefield is a photographer and birth advocate living in Prescott, Az.  She has always wanted a career in both photojournalism and helping women through their pregnancy and delivery process.  Jennifer found being a birth photographer and birth advocate to be a perfect compliment to both those fields.  You can view her work at
