Hello! My name is Gladys, I am a wife and mom of four kiddos. I was born in Costa Rica, which means I obsessed with all things coffee, and yes, I am also fluent in Español!

I established Birth Hour Photography in 2016 and became a certified Labor doula in 2020.

I love using my diverse education in EMS & Psychology along with many life experiences to serve my clients from a unique perspective whether as their birth doula or behind the lens. I grew up in South Florida among some of the most diverse backgrounds, amazing food & had the best times. I have also experienced some of the hardes times in my own motherhood journey through infertility, loss and even as a cancer survivor. But I believe each experience has enhanced the person I am today and prepared me to shine brighter in places where hope is needed and prepared me to anticipate emotion & the many miracles in each birth with my camera.

Because I know life if short, every one of my clients becomes like family. Every birth is the BEST. And every time I get to serve a family it is the greatest honor of my life! I am excited for your journey, and I hope we get to experience it together.
