Hello New Members!

Welcome, we are so glad to have you join our community! I’m Liz, I’m the face behind-the-scenes at IAPBP. I reside on the east coast of the United States and I have been a birth photographer for over a decade. I love it as much as you do! However, running the behind the scenes of this community is literally a dream come true for me and I kinda love it more than I love being at a birth (which, as you know, is saying a LOT)!

But if there’s one thing I want you to know about IAPBP, it is this:

IAPBP is about you and building community with other birth photographers.

I would like to introduce you to a couple of our members. Leilani, Fabio, and Bree are birth photographers just like you. They each have a different story and bring different gifts to our community, the same way you will. They are active in our Members’ Only Facebook Group alongside hundreds of other birth photographers.

Scroll down to get to know them and then come join the conversation, they are waiting to meet you!

Hello, I’m Leilani…

My birth photography journey began in 2011 and literally changed my life. My appreciation for the IAPBP community runs deep because it was a rare find at the time and my strongest friendships within the industry date back to the year I joined. Our group was small and timid and in that group of women, I found common ground and a willingness to wade through so many unknowns together.

My name is Fábio,

and I’m happy to meet you. I have been a birth photographer for 4 years. When I started, there was nothing in Brazil to look for reference and inspiration, that’s when I found IAPBP. What I like most about IAPBP is the fact that we can exchange experiences about birth with professionals from all over the world. Soon, I look forward to meeting birth professionals in practice outside of Brazil to learn even more.

Hi, I’m Bree!

I live in Los Angeles, CA and love capturing raw emotion, story telling, and babies. I have been a birth photographer for more than 5 years and my favorite aspects of IAPBP are the endless inspiration of the birth portraits taken by fellow birth photographers, building friendships in the IAPBP Facebook Group, and building each other up with support and advice.
