My name is Karo and I live with my family in Hannover, Germany.

I’ve always loved photography, but since having my own children, I’ve really realized the emotional value of photos – especially real life ones.
​
In order to preserve exactly these memories in the long term (also for our next generations), I have learned to love the documentary genre so much. And especially, birth photography is close to my heart, because no other type of photography is as honest, intense and informal as this.

Birth is raw, loud, quiet, sentimental, loving, naïve, powerful, pure, magical, spontaneous, clear, intuitive, expressive and totally natural.
