Hi there! My name is Miranda and I am a Decatur, Georgia based birth photographer.

2024 is my first year combining my extensive professional experience in family and childcare with my lifelong passion for photography and film and I can’t wait to watch my portfolio shift further into the world of birth. After film school, I had the difficult realization that the film industry was not for me. I took a job as a nanny that summer. Over the ten years of my nanny career I went back to school for developmental psychology, worked closely not only with children but with their parents as a house manager and family assistant. When my nanny career came to a close, I looked back to the camera and this new career came to me and fit into my heart like the last missing puzzle piece.

I’m a lover of babies, autumn, travel, baking, Lord of the Rings and medieval history. I can’t wait to hear all about you!
