Nadine is a self-taught photographer who moved to Australia in 2010 after spending her childhood and early adulthood in Berlin, Germany. Currently living in the tropical rainforest of Cairns, FNQ Australia.

From a very young age photography has became a constant companion throughout her life which was influenced by her father’s interest in photography.

In 2019 Nadine became more intentional with her photography which explores different stages of the human experience and relationships with a special connection to the motherhood journey. Her approach is heavily inspired and guided by her favourite quote from a famous street photographer,

“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place…. I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them”.

Allowing her to deeply tune into her surroundings. A naturally heightened sense of awareness has always been a great advantage. With an open mind and no expectations, she curiously observes to visually document relationships and their connections. Her process allows for freedom and space for comfortability of self-expression of her subjects and is an essential ingredient to her when working with people, especially children.
