Leanne is a past volunteer professional photographer and area volunteer coordinator for NILMDTS.org.  This experience allows her to anticipate the complexity and uniqueness of each birth journalism session. She has gifted many birthing and newborn sessions to families in need in the Ventura County Area.

Her work has received numerous awards for her photojournalistic-style photography from organizations such as Wedding PhotoJournalist Association, Top Photog 07, Professional Photographers of California, and the Channel Islands Professional Photographers Association.

Her work has been published in Pro Photo West Magazine, Professional Photographer Magazine, VC Reporter, Wedding Celebrations, and numerous websites educating aspiring and professional photographers. She is an active member of the International Association of Professional Birth Photographers www.birthphotographers.com , the Channel Islands Professional Photographers Association www.cippa.org, Professional Photographers of California, and Professional Photographers of America www.ppa.com
